In 2021 I joined a fintech startup in freelance capacity to redesign their b2b SaaS accounts payable product. Their business was growing rapidly, yet the design of their software was still a basic material design template put together by engineers years before.
I worked with the company's product and engineering teams to bring their product from mvp to a well-defined, easy-to-use user experience with a foundational design system to carry them through the future. Collaborating with customer success helped me better understand their users' day-to-day and their pain points.
